  • Faith In practice

We must persevere in faith. Scripture sets forth the principles we are to live by, and God can impress things on our hearts about how He wants us to serve Him as stewards. Don’t let circumstances detour you from faith. Just because it looks like things might not work out, don’t stop trusting God. Don’t let doubt detour you. When doubt is holding you back, take it to Jesus, just like the man who told Jesus: “I do believe; help my unbelief” (Mark 9:24). And Jesus healed his son. By "Tony Evans"

  • Choose Faith Over Fear

First, let’s remember to let faith rule our hearts and not fear. I absolutely believe we should take this pandemic seriously, use precaution and exercise wisdom. At the same time, we can do so while keeping our faith in God.

If God took care of us before this pandemic, please know that He has not changed. Although everything is changing at rapid speed, God is not. He is the same faithful God before this outbreak that He will be once it passes. Our faith can be steady because our God is faithfully unchanging. This truth alone can strengthen us not to give in to fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us:

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 2:1-7 NKJV) By “Christina Patterson

  • Listen to God

As members of the body of Christ, we live our lives with great expectations of God's blessings. As we wait, seek and ask God for promotion - we must be still and remember that our timing is not always in alignment with God's timing, and that our pathway is not always the road that He intends for us to travel. However, if we are patient and wait on God - the time and season will come for Him to elevate and promote us into the position that He has prepared for us (Proverbs 3-:5-6). As we seek to live a life that is pleasing to our heavenly father, we must not become complacent but always work to the best of our ability to function in a capacity that is disciplined, practical and that honors what we stand for as believers.
