- Exemplify Christ-Like Behaviors in Attitude and Dress
Our Vision
Every woman and young adult by studying, praying, fasting and the aid of the Holy Spirit will grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. They will become spiritually mature so that they are devoted women of Jesus Christ in their home, community and church. They will be vessels that can be used for discipleship; encouraging and equipping women for the work of the ministry; allow the Lord to use their talents as gifts for Kingdom Building in service to the body of Christ.
Our Purpose
Titus 2 “... speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 3 ...aged women likewise, (as stated in verse 2 – sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience) that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 ...teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. KJV
Our Prayer
Lord, we pray for a spirit of compassion - help us to care about the needs of each other, and others, and have genuine love for those we are to serve. Pour into us your caring and kind Spirit so that we can minister out of a full heart in order to be a blessing. Fill us to overflowing so that the ministry will be effective, growing and blessed. May we walk in your graciousness with a heart to serve. Lord, you are so amazing! We pray for great faith and strong commitment that we may be a part of doing your greater works. Empower us to help in whatever way you call us to do. Help us to be a friend who loves at all times, even when we may not want to. Teach us how to love with words and actions - to be encouraging and supportive. Show us how to bring joy to others in tangible ways – a phone call, a hug, or a deed that is meaningful. Help us to let our light so shine that other women will see our good deeds/works as they are unto you so that it gives you all Praise, Honor and the Glory You so richly deserve. In Jesus name, we say this prayer, Amen. (Prayers with Purpose for Women)
