our Weekly Food Giveaway
"We May Be The Last Chance For A Family's First Meal Of The Day"
Mission:
At Neabsco Baptist Church, we believe in demonstrating God's love through action. Our weekly food distribution program is a cornerstone of our community outreach, allowing us to serve our neighbors while sharing the message of hope and faith.
Our Goals:
- Nourish Our Neighbors: Provide high-quality, free groceries to local families and individuals facing food insecurity.
- Deliver Consistent Support: Host a dependable weekly distribution featuring fresh goods, pantry staples, and cold-storage items.
- Build Lasting Partnerships: Collaborate with generous community donors to sustain a strong, self-supporting program that can continually meet the area's needs.
- Share the Gospel: Go beyond physical nourishment by offering meaningful spiritual outreach, prayer, and connection to the community.
Code of Conduct:
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in the Neabsco Baptist Church Food Giveaway Program, including staff, volunteers, board members, donor partners, and the guests we serve.
Our Commitment to Respect and Integrity:
We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming, nondiscriminatory, and ethical environment. All participants are expected to treat others with respect and comply with all applicable laws. Harassment, abuse, fraud, or the misuse of food and resources will not be tolerated.
A Safe Environment for All:
Your physical health and safety are our top priorities. We take reasonable precautions to safeguard everyone on our premises. To maintain a secure space for our community, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy for threats, violence, or any disruptive behavior on church grounds.
Reporting Concerns:
If you witness actions that violate these guidelines, please help us keep our community safe:
- General Concerns: Immediately report the behavior to the Food Giveaway Program Lead Coordinator, the Acting Lead Coordinator, or the Pastor.
